| Error | Meaning | Corrective Action |
|-------|---------|--------------------|
| E-01 | Sensor open (thermocouple or RTD) | Check wiring continuity. Simulate input with calibrator. |
| E-04 | Input signal below range (<3.8 mA on 4-20 mA input) | Verify transmitter power (24 VDC loop). |
| E-12 | EEPROM checksum failure | Cycle power. If persists, reload firmware via USB. |
| E-47 | Auto-tune oscillation unrecognized | Increase system damping or run AT at lower setpoint. |
| E-91 | Modbus CRC timeout | Check serial cable; verify baud rate matches host. |
| Address | Parameter | Data Type | Example Value | |---------|-----------|-----------|---------------| | 40001 | PV (Process Value) | Integer (scaled x10) | 1203 = 120.3°C | | 40002 | SV (Set Value) | Integer (scaled x10) | 1200 = 120.0°C | | 40003 | Out1 % | Integer 0-1000 | 482 = 48.2% | | 40010 | Alarm status bits | Bitmap | Bit0=AL1 | | 40100 | PID P gain | Integer 1-9999 | 150 = 15.0 | xmtk-9000 user manual
The XMTK-9000 uses an adaptive PID algorithm. For optimal results, run Auto-tune before critical processes.
Auto-tune Procedure:
Manual PID adjustment: For overshoot issues, increase Kd (Derivative). For slow response, increase Kp (Proportional). CSV column header example: Timestamp (UTC), PV (°C),
The XMTK-9000 comes with a 3-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. This does not cover damage from incorrect wiring, over-voltage, or physical abuse.

For return merchandise authorization (RMA): Provide the error log (via USB export) and a detailed description of the fault. Tip: Do not unplug USB during export –
