Windows 10 Language Packs Page
Installing a new language in Windows 10 is surprisingly intuitive, provided you have an active internet connection. Crucially, you do not need a new copy of Windows.
Step 1: Open Language Settings
Press Windows Key + I to open Settings. Navigate to Time & Language > Language.
Step 2: Add a Preferred Language Click the "Add a language" button (the plus sign icon). A list of hundreds of languages will appear. Search for your desired language (e.g., "French," "German," "Korean"). windows 10 language packs
Step 3: Select Your Variant Languages often have regional variants (e.g., English (United Kingdom) vs. English (United States)). Select the one relevant to you. When you click "Next," you will see a checklist.
The Critical Checklist:
Click Install. Windows will download the pack (usually 50MB to 200MB) and automatically apply the changes.

You likely have a Single Language Edition of Windows 10. This SKU (common on budget laptops) is locked to one language. You cannot change the UI language on Single Language Home. To fix this, you must upgrade to Windows 10 Pro or Enterprise via the Microsoft Store.
