Uret 17 🏆
While URET 17 is a small part, its presence spans numerous industries. You will find this component in action wherever date codes, batch numbers, barcodes, or lot information are printed directly onto products or packaging.
In older CRT televisions and computer monitors, the horizontal deflection circuit generates very high voltages (20-30kV) for the anode. The URET 17 served as a damper diode in the horizontal output stage (HOT). It suppressed reverse voltage spikes from the flyback transformer, protecting the horizontal output transistor.
CIJ printers are ubiquitous on factory floors. The URET 17 blade is often part of the print head’s automatic cleaning system. It wipes the nozzle and charge electrode, preventing ink bridges that cause deflection errors. uret 17
The standout feature of Uret is its unique visual style, often imitated but rarely perfected.
Some high-speed label applicators use urethane wipers to clean vacuum drums or belt surfaces, and a URET 17 equivalent is the specified replacement part. While URET 17 is a small part, its

Does it fit modern masks?
Large-character printers for corrugated boxes may use larger urethane blades; however, the URET 17 standard is most common in small-character, high-resolution systems.
