The Exclusive Solution Approach (Not found in textbooks):
Solution: h2 = hf + xhfg at 100 kPa = 417.5 + 0.92257.5 = 417.5 + 2031.75 = 2449.25 kJ/kg. Then W = (3214.5 – 2449.25) + (50^2 – 100^2)/2000 = 765.25 + (2500 – 10000)/2000 = 765.25 + (-7500/2000) = 765.25 – 3.75 = 761.5 kJ/kg.
That is straightforward. The exclusive part? The marker’s note at the bottom: “If you forgot the velocity term, you lose 2 of 15 marks. If you used 2 instead of 2000, you lose 5 marks.” That insight alone changes how you practice. PEO examiners don’t just look for the final answer

In the context of PEO exams, "exclusive" does not typically refer to materials officially sold by the PEO. The PEO generally does not publish official answer keys for past exams.
