The printer driver alone does not enable scanning. You need the Panasonic Image Scanner Driver (usually included in the same driver package or as a separate download). If the installer didn’t add a scanner icon:

The KX-MB1500 uses a Centronics parallel-like USB implementation (based on older host controllers). Windows 11’s USB printing stack changed significantly, breaking direct legacy device handshakes.
