Neutrik A2 Service Manual Fixed -

Neutrik does not host legacy service manuals for the A2 on their public website any longer.

You cannot calibrate the A2 without a low-distortion oscillator (0.001% THD) and a true RMS meter. The manual’s step using a Fluke 8506A is obsolete.

No service manual is truly "fixed" without addressing firmware. The Neutrik A2 has had three major firmware versions. neutrik a2 service manual fixed

| Version | Issues | Fixed in v2.0 | | --- | --- | --- | | v1.0 | Non-volatile memory corruption, "ERR 7" on startup | Added checksum verification | | v1.2 | Incorrect impedance for 70V speakON lines | Adjusted scaling factor | | v1.4 (current) | Slow capacitance autoranging | Fixed autoranging algorithm |

How to check your version: Hold SETUP while powering on. Display shows A2 Vx.x. Neutrik does not host legacy service manuals for

Where to get the fixed firmware: Neutrik no longer publicly hosts the updater, but their service team will email you the A2_FW_v2.0.hex file and a Windows flasher tool (FTDI-based). You need a TLL-232R cable connected to J7 on the PCB.

Warning: Do not use v1.3 – it has a known bug that corrupts the ground bond calibration. This is documented in the fixed service manual's errata sheet. You cannot calibrate the A2 without a low-distortion
