The MobiWire Koi is a 4G-capable feature phone often provided as an affordable option through carriers like Vodafone Australia or One New Zealand. Because it is a basic device, it typically lacks a long, printed manual, but you can find its key functions and technical setup through official digital guides. 1. Getting Started

SIM and SD Card: To insert your SIM, you generally need to remove the back cover. Look for a small notch on the edge of the device to pry the cover off. The SIM slot and microSD slot (usually supporting up to 32GB) are located behind the battery or just above it.

Powering On: Press and hold the Red/End Call key until the screen lights up.

Charging: The Koi uses a standard micro-USB or USB-C cable (depending on the specific hardware revision). Connect it to the port on the bottom or side of the device. 2. Navigation & Keypad Functions The phone uses a physical keypad for navigation: mobiwire koi manual

Navigation Key (D-Pad): Press Up, Down, Left, or Right to move through menus. The center button acts as "OK" or "Select."

Left Softkey: Typically used to open the Main Menu from the home screen or "Confirm" options. Right Softkey: Usually functions as "Back" or "Shortcuts." Green Key: Answers calls and opens the call log.

Red Key: Ends calls, returns to the home screen, or powers the device on/off. 3. Core Features

Calling & Contacts: Access the Phonebook from the menu to save contacts. To make a call, enter the number on the keypad and press the Green key.

Messaging: Select Messaging > Write message. Use the keypad to cycle through letters.

Tools: Most models include a built-in FM Radio (requires headphones as an antenna), Flashlight (accessible via a long press of the center key or a dedicated side button), and a basic Camera. Warning: Always power off the device and remove

Bluetooth: Found under Settings > Connectivity. This allows you to pair wireless headsets or transfer small files. 4. Troubleshooting & Resets

Factory Reset: If the phone is lagging, go to Settings > Restore factory settings. The default security code is usually 0000 or 1234.

Checking IMEI: Dial *#06# on the keypad to see your device's unique identification number, which is necessary if you need to unlock it for another carrier.

Support: For specific technical issues, visit the MobiWire Help Center or check the Manuals+ library for PDF versions of similar models like the Hinto or Dakota, which share the same operating system.

Many phones require wired headphones as an antenna. The Koi has a built-in antenna.
