Miyazawa Serial Numbers May 2026
The 50th Anniversary (2019) flutes have serials 50TH-001 through 50TH-100. These supersede the regular system.
Unlike some flutes that stamp the number on every joint, Miyazawa is traditional. Look for the serial number engraved on the main body of the flute (the center joint), just above the tenon that connects to the footjoint. Miyazawa Serial Numbers
Miyazawa is a Japanese manufacturer. All authentic Miyazawa flutes are made in Japan. However, there are "stencil" or "house brand" flutes made by Miyazawa for other retailers. The 50th Anniversary (2019) flutes have serials 50TH-001
