Hytera Flashburn New (often referred to as Flashburn New or FBN) is the latest generation of Hytera’s low-level firmware writing and device recovery software. ⚠️ Note: “New” here distinguishes the tool from the original Flashburn (VB6/XP-era). The new version supports Windows 10/11, 64-bit drivers, and modern USB VID/PID identifiers.

If you own an HP Series (HP5, HP6, HP7, HP8), DT Series (DT4, DT8), or PT890Ex, the old FlashBurn (V4.x) will not recognize them. Only the New FlashBurn (V5.x or HDM) provides the necessary bootloaders and firmware packages for these modern devices. Cause : Incorrect key combination or dead battery
