Run SmartSteamLoader.exe (not the game’s .exe). The game will launch without Steam.
This guide is for owners of Serious Sam 3 who wish to exercise their right to LAN play without an internet connection. Croteam officially supports LAN. However, deliberately bypassing Steam on a pirated copy is illegal. If you enjoy the game, buy it – it’s often $5 on sale. The GOG version is DRM-free and the easiest for LAN (no cracks needed).
Serious Sam 3 sometimes binds to IPv6 incorrectly. Disable IPv6 on your LAN adapter (Network Settings → Adapter Properties → Uncheck IPv6) or force IPv4 in the INI:
g_strBindAddress="0.0.0.0"
