Unlike traditional subnetting, which relies solely on IP ranges and CIDR (Classless Inter-Domain Routing) notation, FBSUBNET+L introduces a dynamic tagging system that allows for real-time reconfiguration without disrupting active connections.

The "+L" component is critical. It stands for Logical Layering, a method of overlaying virtual subnets on top of physical hardware.
