Altobeam chips are not fast – expect ~35 Mbps max. But they are weirdly stable at long range. Run:
iperf3 -c 192.168.1.x -t 30
If jitter stays under 5ms, you've succeeded. Most other cheap chips jump to 50ms.
Target Chips: ATBM6031, ATBM6041, ATBM6051, ATBM8831 (often sold as "150Mbps Nano Adapter").

Look for a line with ID 14c3:7634 or 14c3:6001.
Interesting fact: Altobeam often uses the same VID/PID as MediaTek (14c3), leading to false identification.
If you see 14c3:7634, you have the ATBM603x series – the "problem child."
